What To Expect

International Share Houses can be a great way to start your student experience in the USA. Here are some responsibilities to consider.

• You will respect your roommates' private room spaces and get along with roommates.

• You will provide your own personal accessories like wash soap, toothpaste, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc.

• You must clean up after yourself, and share kitchen utensils and household furniture.
• Weekly chores (take out trash and cleaning common areas) are typical in your assigned areas.
• You will share the expense of kitchen dish washing soap and bathroom cleaning supplies. (usually $1.00 -$2.00 per month depending on usage)
• The Share house may not be within walking distance to school.
• Each Share house has its own House Rules. There is no smoking, no drugs, and no pets at all Share houses.
